Iqrar ul Hassan is a renowned Pakistani television host and investigative journalist, best known for his claim to fame show Sar e Aam on ARY News. The program focuses on exposing corruption, malpractice, and social injustice across Pakistan. Iqrar has raided countless factories, police stations, hospitals, and dispensaries, uncovering substandard products, illegal practices, and public service negligence. His fearless reporting once made him the most popular investigative journalists. However the show and makers faced a constant criticism that all the Sar e Aam shows are planted.

Recently, Iqrar ul Hassan appeared in the podcast of his college fellow Zohaib Saleem Butt. In the podcast, Iqrar ul Hassan revealed the reality behind Sar e Aam shows.

Talking about it, he said, “Who else would know better than you that such shows can’t be planted or staged. How can you assume that I caught a police officer and that he would be foolish enough to act as a ‘Corrupt officer’ just because the show is planted and I want ratings for it? What a ridiculous claim! Haven’t you seen the level of corruption we have exposed? You can watch any of my episodes, but you can’t say they’re planted. How many girls have we recovered from hidden places! Police officers and factory owners call the show planted because no one wants to admit their corruption. Naturally, their entire circle becomes your enemy because you’ve exposed people involved in similar corrupt practices. They’ll call you a blackmailer and accuse you of doing a planted show.” Here is the link to the video:
