Iqrar Ul Hassan Syed is a renowned Pakistani former anchor, host, and crime reporter, widely known for his investigative show Sar-e-Aam. He is also recognized for hosting Shaaan-e-Ramzan and other live television transmissions on ARY News. Last year, Iqrar-ul-Hassan entered politics and formed his own party, Awam Raaj Tehreek, which, according to him, aims to give youth a chance to participate in elections.

During his political campaign, Iqrar-ul-Hassan strongly criticized Imran Khan and PTI, to the extent that he made controversial remarks about former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, which sparked severe backlash. Following the criticism, he later issued a detailed public apology.

Recently, Iqrar-ul-Hassan appeared on Public TV’s show Public Demand, where he spoke about his U-turn regarding Imran Khan.

When asked by the host, “Iqrar Bhai, you recently took a 180-degree shift and publicly apologized to PTI supporters. What forced you to do that?” Iqrar-ul-Hassan responded, “You do many things in life due to aggression, anger and disagreement. Things happen because the situation around you becomes tense, where you say inappropriate things in order to prove yourself right, you do things that should not be done, and there is constant burden on your conscience, and I personally think that personal life should not be dragged into fights, after which I thought I should apologize to the PTI supporters.” Here is the link to the video:
