Mayi Ri team comprising of Meesam Naqvi, the director and lead stars Aina Asif and Samar Jafri reunited in Parwarish. The show is once again a hit and fans have been speculating if they will come together once again for Mayi Ri 2. The director has weighed in on this in an interview with Fuchsia.
Meesam Naqvi shared that the production house wanted to do something with both Samar Jafri and Aina Asif and they asked him if he would do Mayi Ri 2. But he is clear that there will be no Mayi Ri 2. He said that the story had a logical outcome and he stands by the stance he took against child marriages. If they make Mayi Ri 2, will it be a halala story between Annie and Fakhir? This is not something he stands for and thus there will never be a Mayi Ri 2.
