Nameer Khan has played the dark character Ammar Bakhtiyar in the on-air drama Qarz e Jaan. He was able to do justice to the character and despite all of the character’s flaws, the actor received a lot of appreciation from fans. Ammar is a rapist, he is into drugs and he is now a murderer as well. But Qarz e Jaan fans kept defending him till he killed his own brother-in-law.
Nameer Khan has most of his scenes with Nashwa aka Yumna Zaidi. He has previously revealed that he was initially skeptical when they started working together as she is such a big star but he is happy how all his hard work paid off and fans loved their scenes together. There are many edits on Instagram where Qarz e Jaan viewers wanted them to end up together.
While he made a Vlog on his YouTube, he answered if he is promoting rape as he has shared many edits of Nashwa and Ammar. Ammar is a bad guy who was found guilty when the drama started. Nameer Khan said that he shares these edits and scenes as he has done a good job in those parts as an actor. He wants more people to see his work as it turned out to be that good. No sane person will promote Ammar’s crimes and that is never his intention when he shares his scenes from the drama.
