Qarz e Jaan is a Hum TV’s famous prime time drama serial which will end soon. The story of the drama serial is written by ace Pakistani writer Rabia Razzzaque and it has been directed by Saqib Khan. It is a Momina Duraid productions’ presentation. The cast features Yumna Zaidi and Usama Khan, Nameer Khan and others in the main leads.
Recently, the Qarz e Jaan made an appearance in a digital podcast Gurya’s Take. In the podcast she opened up about Qarz e Jaan story which is inspired by her real life story.
While talking about Qarz e Jaan story, Rabia Razzzaque said, “I went through a time in my life when I dealt with murder cases, court proceedings, and family feuds within my own household. My father was murdered over a land dispute by his own relatives. That experience opened my eyes to the harsh realities of life. I carry a journey of Khoon Baha behind me. The original title of Qarz-e-Jaan was Khoon Baha, because my father was killed over what is known as Khoon Baha (blood money). We know that one murder is the murder of all humanity. I’ve reflected the same thought in my drama — that killings may have a Khoon Baha or forgiveness in the form of Diyyat but what about emotions and feelings? The Khoon Baha of emotions is that we never fully heal from the trauma and pain that such experiences leave behind”. Here is the link to the video:
