Ishrat was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show and spoke about some realities of the news industry. She shared how she has been asked by youngsters to mentor them but not in a serious way. She wants to say that there is no right way of reading the news. Newcomers sometimes ask her to record her voice which they can copy while they read their own news but this is not the way to learn the craft.
