Ishrat Fatima is a senior PTV and Radio Pakistan newscaster who has served the media industry for nearly three decades. She became a household name across Pakistan due to her iconic 9:00 pm news bulletin on PTV. A few days ago, Ishrat Fatima made headlines following her resignation from Radio Pakistan, stating that she was forced to leave the station after being made to feel that she was no longer important to the institution, after which she was reappointed at PTV as a mentor.
Recently, Ishrat Fatima made her comeback appearance on a PTV bulletin alongside her former colleague Zubair Ahmed Siddiqui, who expressed nostalgia at seeing his teacher and mentor back at PTV.
While introducing Ishrat Fatima, Zubair Ahmed Siddiqui said, “It is a great honor to have with me my elder sister, my teacher, and PTV’s pride Ishrat Fatima.
