Ismat Zaidi is a senior actress of Pakistan. She has been working in dramas for four decades now and she has been a part of some major projects. She has appeared in great shows and she has worked with all the actors and actresses in Pakistan. She was a guest on Nadia Khan’s show and spoke about how she is coping with unprofessionalism in the industry.

Ismat Zaidi revealed that our set routine is a disaster. They make actors do shifts of 12 hours plus and they never really inform anyone when scenes will be shot exactly. She further added that main leads can cancel any shoot and no one else is consulted if they have dates or not. They will have to live according to the new stars’ wishes.

She went on to narrate how she was once insulted on the set. When she spoke about unprofessionalism, a director shouted at her in front of 50 people on set. No one stood up for her and she nearly broke into tears. She added that senior stars are given more respect in the world but here she was treated that way. However, she kept her commitment and completed that shoot.
