Jamal Shah and Faryal Gohar made a huge celebrity couple of their times. They got married in the 80s and remained together till the early 90s. The duo were very loved artists individually and together they presented themselves as a power couple. Their divorce broke hearts of their dedicated fans. Recently, they both sat together for an interview at GMP and now Faryal has made some explosive claims.
Faryal Gohar was a guest on Good Morning Pakistan where she spoke about facing domestic violence in her marriage. She said that she does not know why she kept taking it. She was beaten with belts and she lost pregnancies due to this violence. The actress added in last that she lost a twin pregnancy to violence which led her to seek divorce.
Jamal Shah has not sat with Ammar Masood and he is responding to these allegations. He denied all her claims and said that he never wanted to engage in a war of words. He added that her claims of domestic violence are all wrong as he has never been a misogynist. He further denied multiple miscarriages and revealed that they lost only one baby because Faryal was attacked and bitten by a dog and she miscarried as a result.
Jamal Shah does not want to file a defamation case as it would only get him money which he does not need. The damage to his reputation has been done. This is his side:
