Pakistani filmmaker Jami Moor came forward with his own story of #MeToo from 13 years ago. Jami shared his heartbreaking story of getting raped by a powerful man.
“I was brutally raped by a very powerful person in our media world. A giant actually. And yes, I’m taller than him but I froze, not sure why. Yes, it really happens and happened to me,” he wrote.
For quite a long time Jami Moor didn’t reveal the name of his rapist as he was the powerful and influential man. Today, in a tweet Jami gathered the courage and revealed name of his rapist who is Hameed Haroon.

Hameed Haroon is a powerful man. He is the CEO of Dawn Media Group. Still, people are waiting for his remarks on this case.
Our society doesn’t take male rape survivors seriously. It takes a lot of courage to come out and share your story with the world. Its high time that we must support rape survivors.
