Jannat Mirza recently appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt. In the podcast, she opened up about calling off her engagement. Jannat Mirza also revealed her marriage plans.
Talking about it, she said, “I think I was not ready for the break up, why would I be ready for such a thing but yes, I was not afraid of it, I was happy after that. The thing that could happen in the future has happened before. I think calling off a Nikah or marriage hurts more, so! it is okay that it all ended before. It wasn’t a hasty decision, we thought about it for two years, we saw each other and thought that it is not going to work, we talked about it before ending it. Talking about her marriage plans, she said that she is an old school in this regard and she would love to go for an arranged marriage. Jannat Mirza said, “Arranged marriages have more charm. In my past relationship, I could see multiple issues, there were things which couldn’t be ignored especially regarding marriage because it happens for the lifetime” She further said that she doesn’t believe in giving a second chance now, previously, she was quite forgiving.
