Javed Sheikh is a veteran Pakistani television and film actor, director, and producer. He is equally popular in both India and Pakistan. These days, fans are praising his performance in the drama serial Iqtidar. He also received acclaim for his phenomenal acting in the blockbuster drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. Javed Sheikh is considered the undisputed king of the Pakistani entertainment industry due to his longstanding dominance in both film and television.
Recently, he made an appearance on Mubashir Luqman’s show on the 356 News channel via a telephone link. During the show, he spoke about the decline of Bollywood’s Khans.
In response to Mubashir Luqman’s question, “What will happen now as people aren’t accepting them as heroes at the age of 60, should they consider doing character roles?” He replied, “It is very difficult for them to appear in character roles. They won’t do such roles, and it’s hard for people to accept them as fathers or grandfathers. It’s difficult for people—though not for me, as I’m already playing character roles. But not everyone is ready to accept them in such roles. I haven’t met them for the past three years since this decline. Maybe if I had met them, I would have advised them. Netflix has also damaged the Bollywood industry.”
