Junaid Safdar, the son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the grandson of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, recently tied the knot with Shanzay Ali Rohail in Lahore. The Barat event was attended by close family members and friends from both families. Many political workers from PML-N and other parties were also invited. Today, Junaid Safdar’s Barat ceremony was held during the daytime at a farmhouse in Lahore and was hosted by the bride’s family.

The Barat couple looked absolutely adorable. Junaid Safdar’s bride, Shanzay Ali Rohail, wore a stunning red saree by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani. The Saree was heavily embellished with intricate dull-gold and ivory zardozi embroidery and traditional patterns. Her look was elevated with a heavy veil draped over her head. She carried a matching embroidered potli bag and wore an elegant statement polki necklace with green emerald drops. She opted for dull-gold bangles and skipped other accessories such as a tikka, jhoomar, and heavy earrings. Her hair was styled in a neat bun, and she kept her makeup subtle and nude, similar to her Mehndi look. Junaid Safdar was dressed in a crisp ivory sherwani paired with matching trousers and a traditional ivory qulla turban. His outfit was by HSY.
