Kanwal Ameen is a well-known educationist of Pakistan. She was the vice-chancellor of University of Education Lahore and she has also served as a professor in the prestigious University of Punjab. She is also the mother of superstar Ali Zafar and Danyal Zafar. Kanwal Ameen has also done a lot of work towards women’s education and she was awarded Sitara e Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan for her services.
Kanwal Ameen was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show and spoke about her life, career and parenting. She also spoke about her son Ali Zafar very fondly and shared how proud he has made them with his work. Kanwal also shared a regret she has about Ali Zafar and something that she feels might have been avoided in the past.
She revealed that Ali was a very studious kid and he got first position in 10th grade. He was awarded at his school and it was the first big award he achieved. She however could not attend the ceremony at school as she accomodated something else and she still feels that she should have been there that day.

She also shared that the thing that makes her the happiest in life is the bond between the three brothers. They all support each other’s careers and life and there is never any competition. This is her biggest happiness.
