Kashif Mehmood was a guest on Wasi Shah’s show. He had recently moved to Birmingham for is son’s studies and he has been living between the two countries now. He has been struggling with leaving Pakistan for an extended period but he remembered his idol Qavi Khan and how he permitted his children to achieve their goals. Kashif revealed that once he visited Qavi Khan who was staying with his servant as all his children have moved away from Pakistan. When Kashif asked him about this decision, Qavi Khan said that he can never become an obstacle in hs kids’ path.

An actor like Khalid Butt deserved to play a character that he played in Khaie and he finally got a huge round of applause in his last days.
Kashif Mehmood got emotional as he remembered how Khalid Butt was the first person who made him earn his pay check through acting. He was struggling in Al Hamra when one day Butt Sahab came and asked him to do a role and he earned 2500 rupees from it. He said that we as a nation did not appreciate Khalid Butt’s talent enough.
