Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is a brilliant Pakistani writer who has written multiple hit dramas including Mere Paas Tum Ho, Boota from Toba Tek Singh, Bunty I Love You, Man Jali, Muhabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai, Zara Yaad Kar, Pyare Afzal, Gentleman and others. Currently, his Wahaj Ali starrer drama Sunn Mere Dil has become talk of the town. The drama has so far garnered 550 million views on YouTube but it has been facing severe backlash by Marina Khan, Nadia Khan and other reviewers.
Recently, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar has responded to the criticism of Sunn Mere Dil. He said, “There are two important things in this: First, you have to see who is criticising it; are they credible enough? Secondly, there was a mistake at our end; our end means the makers who stretched 26 episodes to 35 episodes. It took time to develop the story because of the increase in episodes, which impacted the narrative of the drama”
Talking about his viral dialogue of Sunn Mere Dil, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar said, “Ammar uttered the famous 2 takka dialogues because he’s a cheap man; in reply, Sadaf also said he was a dog, talk about that too. They are their emotional encounters, nothing else”
Talking about Nadia Khan and Marina Khan, he said, “I don’t want to discuss these ladies. I haven’t worked with them, so they have this grief, and they talk against me. Please, have you ever seen actors who have worked with me talking against me. I request you to not talk about them”
Talking about Nadia Afgan, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar said, “I don’t know about her; I heard she is an actor; I haven’t ever worked with her. It’s like a woman who I never married claims that I divorced her. I haven’t heard anything about Nadia Khan, Nadia Afgan, and others; I never talked to anyone ever”
