Naeem Tahir is a legend of Pakistan. He is a theater, film and television artist and scholar. He has taught a generation of artists and he has developed many cultural places of significance in Pakistan. His son Ali Tahir and Faran Tahir have taken his legacy forward. His wife Yasmeen Tahir was another legend of Pakistan. She worked both as a host and a writer. She passed away on 19th July 2025.
Naeem Tahir has always expressed love, affection and respect for his beloved wife. She passed away this year, leaving a void in the lives of her family and fans. In Fatima Saif’s podcast, he remembered his wife and shared beautiful stories about their companionship. He got very emotional and could not control his tears as he was speaking about Yasmeen Tahir.
Naeem Tahir revealed that he has reserved a place beside his wife’s grave for himself. He added that he feels that she is always with him. He feels she is in their room and he sometimes even speaks to her and then he realizes that she is not there anymore. He requested fans to pay for his beloved wife.
