Mann Mast Malang is a hit Geo TV drama serial that has so far garnered more than 500 million views on YouTube. The drama is being watched in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India and other parts of world. Mann Mast Malang is written by Tere Bin fame writer Nooran Makhdoom and it has been directed by Ali Faizan. The story revolves around two families who become enemies after Kabir Khan, played by Danish Taimoor, accidentally kills the mother of Riya Asghar Ali, a character portrayed by Sahar Hashmi.
So far, 41 episodes of Mann Mast Malang have been aired on Geo TV. Danish Taimoor and Sahar Hashmi’s fans are loving the story of the drama but many social media users are not happy with overly romantic sequences in the dramas. In one of the recent episodes, Kabir and Riya’s intimate dance scene is getting severe public backlash. In the scene, Kabir forcefully holds Riya and starts dancing with her. Social media users are quite upset about the romantic sequences in Mast Malang. They are also criticizing the actors for compromising their values. One user wrote, “It is quite sad to see that Pakistani dramas were once famous for their decent romance, but now the drama makers are showing obscenity, which they have borrowed from Indian dramas and films.” Another wrote, “Harassment is being normalized in Pakistani dramas.” One social media user said, “Danish Taimoor gave the viral ‘Filhal’ statement after working with this girl.” Another commented, “These vulgar dramas have destroyed the innocent minds of people.” Read the comments here:
