Recently, Marina Khan appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast in which she recalled her biggest fan moment which occurred in Sharjah after the success of Tanhayaan.
Talking about it, Marina Khan said, “I remember matches were being played in Sharjah. Shehnaz, Layla Zuberi, Shakeel, and I were invited to watch one. Layla Zuberi’s famous drama was airing at the time, and of course, Shakeel Sahib was a legend. So, just being invited to Sharjah was a big deal. Watching the match from a VIP celebrity pavilion felt surreal. I never considered myself a celebrity. Shehnaz and I went outside in a car—in broad daylight—but within seconds, it turned pitch black because the car was suddenly surrounded by people. The match had just ended, and the crowd was pouring out. As the car started moving, that moment hit both of us—it was a huge realization. Not that we thought we had become someone important, but the experience was truly surreal.” Here is the link to the video:
