Marina Khan is one of the biggest stars of Pakistan. She became a household name and a star everyone loves with her dramas Tanhaiyaan and Dhoop Kinaray. Her characters are loved till today and fans quote those performances as their favourite. She has since become a director as well and she has directed socially relevant dramas like Dastak and Pardes.
Marina Khan has always been loved for her looks, talent and grace. She is also very open about her experiences in life and as she was celebrating PTV’s 61st birthday on Star & Style, she shared how she suffered from a scary medical condition while she was at the top of her game. She said that she had become a superstar when she was diagnosed with facial paralysis. Obviously one side of her face drooped but she never cared about public judgment and lived her life normally.
She went on to add in a hilarious way that an elder told her not to stand close to the stage at a family wedding as the groom will think you are winking at her. Her face was droopy on that side and eye remained open. She later recovered and she never let that condition make herself feel insecure despite being a huge star.
