Maryam Nawaz Sharif is the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the current Chief Minister of Punjab. The Sharif family has ben ruling the country for the past four decades and the public is familiar with their children. Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s son Junaid Safdar has been the beloved son of the family. He was previously married to Ayesha Saif but the marriage did not work out.
Junaid Safdar is all set to tie the knot again and new information about the upcoming nuptials is out now. This time around his marriage has been settled with veteran politician Sheikh Rohail Asghar’s granddaughter Shanzay Asghar. The bride’s grandfather spoke to journalist Shazia Zeeshan and shared the details of the wedding.
Sheikh Rohail Asghar revealed that his granddaughter is close friends with Junaid Safdar’s younger sister Mahnoor Safdar. That is where the family met her and liked her. They sent proposal which was then accepted. The wedding will take place on 16-18th January 2026. The mehndi event will take place at the groom’s place in Jati Umra. Barat is set to happen in Lake City Lahore and Walima will again be arranged at Jati Umra.
