The actor has once again grabbed the spotlight on the media after her mother’s recent interview with Geo TV in which she revealed why Meera landed into a big trouble due to her poor English.
In an interview with Murtaza Ali Shah for Geo TV, Meera’s mother Shafqat Zehra Bukhari revealed that she was deported from London by immigration authorities due to failing in English language. According to Meera’s mother, she misquoted her name and also mistakenly said “transaction” instead of “transit” due to which she was deported and banned from entering the UK for ten years—a restriction that has now expired.
Meera’s mother, Shafqat Zehra Bukhari further added that now they have requested the British High Commission to issue a visa to Meera. She said that at that time, they couldn’t understand Meera’s English and Meera also couldn’t fluently communicate. Here is the link to the video:
