Mehar Bano is an actress, writer and dancer. She is multi-talented and super confident in her skin. She has worked in some good dramas and she has been linked to some very artistic projects of Pakistan including Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar’s Kamli. She was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai and spoke about her life, passion for art and the industry in general.
Mehar Bano answered a public question and openly spoke about the dark side of the industry. She shared that all fields have a dark side and showbiz has a huge one too. There are young boys and girls who face harassment on set. She added that there are pressures which actors face for work from people in power. Mehar Bano said that showbiz is an industry with beautiful faces and magnetic personalities thus the dark side is also very much there and people get targeted.

Mehar Bano also revealed that many actors in the industry suffer from body odour. Many A listers have unpleasant body odour and one has to endure it on set. Recently, she was working on a set and she along with Affan Waheed were affected by a fellow actor’s lack of deodorant but could not do anything about it. She never really tells anyone when they smell bad and endures it professionally.
