Recently, Mehar Bano opened up about how the drama industry is being ruined by AI-generated scripts and spoke about the growing harassment within the industry.
Talking about it, Mehar Bano said, “You guys have no idea how many scripts currently airing on television are AI-generated. Even I have worked on one of them. It is the ultimate disrespect to the professional writers who have devoted so much time to this industry. That’s why I have stopped working—I am appalled by this attitude. And you can’t even imagine how unsafe women are in the workplace, even in the post-#MeToo era. I have worked with third-class people over the years, and the things I have seen happening to young girls on set are unbearable. I pray that no girl ever has to go through this.” Watch here:
