Mehmood Aslam is a veteran actor who has been working in the industry for over four decades now. He has worked in theatre, dramas and films and he is loved for his serious roles and his work in the longest running sitcom Bulbulay. Mehmood Aslm has seen all the phases of this country and the industry and he has a lot to say about it.
He was a guest on FHM podcast and talked about how he has always loved his country and Pakistan is in is heart. He said that despite having the opportunity, he did not leave his country and preferred to live here. He further added that despite all his love he does not think that Pakistanis have a lot to be proud of. The country has the fourth worst ranking passport, if you go abroad you are pushed around at the airports and face humiliation. Nothing in Pakistan is working and his heart bleeds at what the rulers have done to our homeland but right now we have nothing to be proud of.

He further spoke about how Indian actors are better than Pakistani actors as they have always gotten a lot of support from their country. Talking to Adnan Shah Tipu who has worked internationally, Mehmood said that if we were paid justly and we also had guards riding out with us then we would have looked like Shahrukh or Salman. Here artists are exploited and Tipu also agreed with him.
