She said that their marriage was truly abusive and claimed that Jamal Shah used to beat her with leather belts. She also revealed that she suffered multiple miscarriages due to his abusive behavior. Not only this, but she mentioned that her in-laws were very conservative and that she faced multiple restrictions at her husband’s house.
Faryal Gohar was supported by fans, but many also questioned her decision to appear on national television with her abusive ex-husband. Mishi Khan has now also called out Faryal Gohar for sitting with her ex-husband despite their allegedly problematic marriage.

A few months ago, she was sitting with her ex-husband on a morning show and showed that their relationship was very cordial. She further said that she had a good relationship with her saas. Now she is back and has revealed the gory details of her abusive marriage 35 years ago, saying, ‘I was young and studying. I was hit with leather belts and beaten around my kidneys.’ It doesn’t make sense. If it was that abusive of a marriage, why did you sit with a man on national television who hit you brutally? Even if you were offered crores of rupees, you should have rejected that offer. You should not even come near such a man, you should not even see him, and you should not even accept his existence.
