Mishi Khan is a well-known Pakistani actress, host, and social activist who is known for her versatile performances in hit dramas such as Ajaib Khana, Tipu Sultan, Saat Pardon Main, Khala Khairan, Landa Bazaar , and Uroosa. Uroosa was her overnight hit drama series which bagged her timeless fame. Apart from acting, Mishi Khan has been hosting the longest-running morning shows on K2 TV. Mishi Khan is also a woke celebrity who raises voice on all national, international and social issues.

Recently, Mishi Khan shared a video on her Instagram where she opened up about vulgarity being spread by social media and media industry.

Talking about it, Mishi Khan said, “I am shocked to see women on social media spreading vulgar content, especially some village vloggers who post obscene videos focusing on their body parts while doing household chores. Besides this, platforms like Facebook and Instagram are becoming hubs for inappropriate and indecent content, yet no one in society seems to be raising their voice against it. I don’t understand why parents are not guiding or stopping their children. Modern times do not mean becoming vulgar. Even our dramas today are promoting indecent scenes. It is the performers’ responsibility to refuse such content because families watch these shows. Unfortunately, dramas are becoming more explicit, often showing bedroom scenes with couples under blankets, which is unnecessary and inappropriate. In the past, we had super-hit shows that were entertaining yet decent. We should strongly condemn vulgarity instead of normalizing it.”
Social media users are appreciating Mishi Khan for once again raising her voice, while a few are saying that it seems the end of times is near, as vulgarity is now being cherished and celebrated. Read the comments here:
