Mishi Khan said, “Sana, what do you mean by saying that the artists are beyond borders—if that is true, you would be traveling across the world without a passport. Why do you follow all immigration laws while traveling then? Just say that I am an artist and you won’t be needing a passport. Please stop repeating these old and obsolete narratives about artists being beyond borders. I understand that you’re trying to spread messages of love, but when it comes to the sovereignty of your country, you must take a stand and choose your nation. That’s the moment when your country demands your loyalty. You’re my friend, but I have to correct you. Just look at Indian artists—see how they openly support their country. Their military has killed our civilians, yet their artists still stand with their nation.”
