Aizal was an 18-month-old cute little baby who was raped by her 18-year-old relative, Manan, in Karachi earlier this week. The little Aizal lost her life after being subjected to sexual assault. This incident sparked outrage among the public, with many calling out the perverted mindset of men, the careless attitude of parents, and the lawlessness in the country.

Mishi Khan was the most vocal Pakistani celebrity who posted several videos after little Aizal’s tragic death. In one of her videos, she called out the parents of the little girl, asking them if they were sleeping or unconscious after consuming drugs like opium. She said, “I want to ask the parents: Are you sleeping after consuming opium? Don’t you know what the situation is outside? Why do you send your children with strangers? What do they offer you that leads you to send your kids with them? Can’t you walk for your kids? Imagine, that guy was her phupho’s grandson. Don’t you know statistics show that most girls or children who are raped are assaulted by relatives?” Watch the video here.
Some people agreed with Mishi Khan, while others called her out for not also holding the parents of such perpetrators accountable for failing to control or supervise their sons. One person wrote, “Ask the guy’s parents where they were. Did they consume opium or hash?” Another said, “How easy it is to bash the woman who has to earn as well as raise this little kid.” One person defended the mother, writing, “She was the only one taking care of her daughter.” Another agreed with Mishi and shared their own observation, saying, “I am living in Islamabad, I-10 Sector. All the time, people leave their kids in the streets to play, even late at night. There should be some care, for God’s sake.” Another commented, “The world has changed, and trust is a problem. One should not entrust one’s child to anyone except the mother.” One more person wrote, “Although she sounds rude, we should not leave our kids with anyone, even for a second.” Read the comments:
