Gaza is burning and a genocide is being committed by Israel in front of everyone. Like all the genocides of the history, this one too sees superpowers and allies standing as spectators while young children are being massacarred in real time. Celebrities all over the world are now playing their role to raise awareness about innocent Palestinians and many have stood on the right side of history. American model Bella Hadid who has Palestinian roots just got replaced as she was very vocal about Gaza genocide. Pakistani celebrities largely do not have to lose local contracts as Pakistan has always supported Palestine as the state position. Shadow bans are however, happening but still celebrities like Nadia Jamil and Ushna Shah are very vocal. Ayeza Khan was called out by people for not posting enough about the genocide as she is the most followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram.
Ayeza had finally shared her side and posted that posting is not necessary and she is paying for the children and innocent people of Gaza everyday. Here is what Ayeza posted and later deleted:
Nauman Ijaz was another celebrity with the point of view that posting on social media was not necessary and it was show off but many netizens disagreed with the actor.
Mishi Khan has now come forward with her opinion on all of this. She has been very vocal on social media and said that what is this, that we are praying privately. If you have a platform, you should raise your voice for the oppressed people of Palestine. She said that what if you lose a bit of work or something, raising your voice is necessary for anyone who has a platform.
