Mishi Khan is a well-known Pakistani television actor, host, and social activist, admired for her versatile acting performances in hit PTV classics such as Ajaib Khana, Tipu Sultan, Saat Pardon Main, Khala Khairan, Landa Bazaar, and Uroosa. She rose to prominence through Uroosa, which earned her timeless fame. Apart from acting, Mishi Khan has also been hosting one of the longest-running morning shows on K2 TV. She is a vocal celebrity who frequently raises her voice against social injustices.
Recently, Mishi Khan posted a video appealing to the Pakistan Army regarding an evacuation notice issued for a residential building near Serena Hotel, Islamabad.
Mishi Khan said, “Share my message as it is urgent. There is a residential building right opposite Serena Hotel, named Constitution 1, which was raided by police last night. The police have urgently ordered the residents to evacuate the building overnight without giving them enough time. All the residents are worried. Today is Labour Day; how do you think people can move out within a day without labourers and even a single loading lift? The police are literally sitting there waiting for them to evacuate. How can you order them to vacate in one day?”
She further added, “My very good friend Ghazal Kaifi, a talented Pakistani actor, is also there and is very worried. They are going through a very tough time and mental stress. I appeal to Mohsin Naqvi to look into this matter. My appeal to the Pakistan Army is to please give them time. How can one loader handle the evacuation of the whole building? At least a one-month notice should be given.”
Ghazala Kaifi has thanked her Uroosa co-star Mishi Khan for standing by her during her difficult times. Multiple other people are also appealing to the authorities to give the residents at least one month’s time to vacate the building. Here are the comments:
