Moammar Rana is a versatile Pakistani TV and film actor who has appeared in numerous hit Pakistani films and dramas. His debut hit film Kuriyon Ko Daalay Daana gave him timeless fame. His other notable films include Deewane Tere Pyaar Ke, Fire, Chooriyan, Jhoomar, Koi Tujh Sa Kahan, and Channa Sachi Muchi. He has also appeared in popular Pakistani dramas like Roshan Sitara, Mehram, Dil, Diya, Dehleez, and others. The Chooriyan actor is married to Mehnaz Moammar Rana and has two grown-up daughters, Rea and Raneya. His daughter Rea is a brilliant makeup artist.
Recently, Moammar Rana gave an interview to Discover Pakistan. In the interview, he opened up about the downfall of the film industry.
Talking about it, Moammar Rana said, “Look, when we released Yeh Dil Aapka Huwa, it was a massive hit and also did great business. It was an indication for the filmmakers, who should have understood what people wanted. But they forcefully made us wear laacha and kurta. We had no choice but to do such movies. In the end, people got fed up with the same shawl and the same moustache. There used to be two heroes, one heroine, and three villains who were supposed to be killed either by me or Shaan.
