The actor is a sensitive soul and he has seen a lot of pain and heartbreak in his real life. He spoke about it in his interview with Wasi Shah.
He spoke about how he was so intertwined in his work that he was not able to give time to his wife. He also had advice for young men. He said that instead of just giving money to your wife, buy her something even if it is cheap and small. She will always cherish it more. He got emotional and said that his sons thankfully take after their grandfather and not him and take care of their life partners. He emphasized that living in a joint family made this all possible as all relationships were together and filled all the gaps that could have remained otherwise.

He also spoke about some huge losses he has borne in his life. His nephew died who was very much loved by him. The moment he had to take his death certificate broke him. Then he lost his mother and then losing his young daughter in child birth is a horror that he cannot recover from.
