Mor Mehal (مور محل) on Geo Tv is an upcoming play on Geo Tv. It is one of the big budgeted plays of Geo Tv. (The last high budgeted play of Geo Tv was Bashar Momin).
Mor Mehal (مور محل) is a story set some three centuries ago during the Mughal Empire. Mor Mehal is an inspiration from the Turkish play The Magnificent Century aired in Pakistan as Mera Sultan. The treatment, styling and production is on the similar lines as it was in the Mera Sultan.
The play is directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat. Meesha Shafi, Jaanan Malik and Uzair Jaswaal are playing the lead roles. Zahid Iftikhaar Ahmed is also playing an important supporting role of a court singer (gawayaa گویا). The play is written by Sarmad Sehbai
