Mohsin Nawaz is a Pakistani FM RJ, motivational speaker, TV celebrity, and Genral manager at Radio who cannot walk or see. Mohsin was diagnosed with polio paralysis at the tender age of 2, due to which he lost the biggest gift of God, his eyesight, at the age of 13. Even after two of his most essential parts were gone, Mohsin continued fighting for his life. He also has a YouTube channel with a substantial subscription of more than one 108k followers.
In Willing Ways Pakistan’s podcast, Mohsin Nawaz exposed Lahore’s dance parties and night life reality.
Talking about it, Mohsin Nawaz said, “Lahore is being used as a symbol here, but these statistics apply to all major cities. In Lahore, Bedian Road and Barki Road are known for their nightlife, where parties are held at farmhouses. Previously, guest houses were known for such activities, but now farmhouses have become popular for these illicit gatherings where boys and girls dance all night to loud music. They also consume “dancing” or “ecstasy” pills that make them feel dizzy. Earlier, these pills were imported from abroad, but now they are manufactured in Pakistan. The pills, which include “ice,” are available in different qualities and cost between Rs. 700 and Rs. 5,000. These pills suppress hunger and give users high energy, allowing youngsters to dance all night. Three types of women usually attend these parties: hostel girls, host ladies, and women who become partners of single men. Whatever I am telling you is based on facts and figures — the tickets for these parties are sold for Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000. Increase of these activities, such as use of drugs, dance parties, is becoming normal in our society which is a wake up call for all of us. Such activities give rise to various other crimes including murders like most recently a young man Ahmed Javed was killed in Lahore in the same kind of night parties. Here is the link to the video:
