A few days ago, Maulana Azad Jameel shared a Wazifa to reduce electricity bills which insanely went popular. This was also discussed by various Pakistani celebrities. Social media users also mocked Maulana Azad Jameel for sharing Wazifa to reduce electricity bills.
Recently, Rabia Anam and Danish Taimoor also discussed this with Mufti Syed Sheheryar Daood during their Ramzan transmission. In response to the question, ‘Can bills be reduced through Wazifas?’, Mufti Sheheryar replied, ‘What can I say? I can’t understand what was Maulana Azad Jameel thinking while making such statements. In Punjabi we say, ‘Mat Maari Gai he – they are not in their senses’. The word Zamzam is associated with a very important historical Islamic incident, yet they are trying to link it with worldly matters. It is Allah’s miracle. Don’t try to change religion, and don’t harm your country. Don’t be a part of its destruction, as this country has given us so much. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) emphasized love for Makkah and Madina; likewise, we should love our own country. Zamzam is Allah’s miracle, and even scientists are astonished by its uniqueness.’
