Kya Drama Hai is a popular TV review show that airs on 24 News HD, featuring senior actors as critics and co-hosts. The show’s panel of judges keeps changing. This week, Shamoon Abbasi and Nadia Afgan replaced Nadia Khan and Atiqa Odho. Mukarram Kaleem and the judges reviewed Geo TV’s hit drama serial Dayan this Monday.
In the uncut version of Dayan, Nadia Afgan mocked the overly dramatic situations in the show. She said, “I watched it, and it gave me strong Khoon Bhari Maang, Bollywoodish vibes. It was completely over the top. The way they made it was overly dramatic—just like Khoon Bhari Maang. I didn’t like Nihal’s room without curtains. Things should be logical. Everything was exaggerated. The grave scene was quite over animated. I haven’t seen anything this larger than life. And the way Hira was dancing with the kid was quite funny. I mean she was throwing him here and there, and then Mehwish Hayat taking a rickshaw. It was all quite entertaining for me. I didn’t feel bored. I also enjoyed Sohail Sameer’s acting.” Here is what Nadia Afgan said:

Most of the fans are agreeing with Nadia Afgan saying that Geo TV’s dramas are quite over the top and are more like Star Plus dramas. Many loved Nadia Afgan’s presence in the show. One fan wrote, “It’s good to see Nadia Afgan in the absence of Nadia Khan”. However, a few are of the view that Kya Drama Hai show has chosen a pattern of mocking the popular show and they also don’t rate the lead actors.
