Nadia Jamil is an actress, host and an activist and she has done great work for the protection of children. Nadia Jamil is a survivor of child sexual abuse and she has gone through the horrors twice, once at the age of four and another at the age of 17. House staff was responsible both times and she has been very vocal about how the abuse has shaped her life.
She was a guest on Frieha Altafs podcast and shared a physical trauma she has felt all her life due to her harrowing experience. She said that her abuser hung her outside from the first floor as he grabbed her ankles when she was a child. This has remained in her subconscious so badly that she would need some sort of weight put on her ankles while she tried to sleep during the night. It is very recent that she has been able to sleep easily and this problem has ended.

Nadia’s mother like her is also an activist and a very strong woman. She has always loved Nadia and Nadia revealed that her mother has never openly reacted to the abuse Nadia faced. She has always stood by her but she may be in denial and is not sure how to react that her daughter went through this pain.
