Nadia Khan is a veteran Pakistani host and TV actor known for her bold and blunt opinions on various political, social, and media-related issues. She sometimes shares balanced views on controversial statements made by celebrities. Recently, she appeared as a guest on a Ramzan show hosted by Mansha Pasha and Zhalay Sarhadi. During the show, she shared her opinion on a viral statement by Saima Qureshi regarding women’s earnings.
Saima Qureshi stated that women’s earnings do not bring blessings and prosperity to a household.
In response to Mansha Pasha’s question, “We have examples like Hazrat Khadija (R.A.), but today, working women are criticized by other women. What are your thoughts on this?” Nadia Khan replied, “I think you are referring to the specific viral statement. In my opinion, Barkat (prosperity and blessings) comes from halal earnings, whether by a woman or a man. If the income is halal, it will bring Barkat to the household. It is not about the gender because Allah loves us all. We are often more influenced by cultural beliefs than Islamic teachings. We need to learn and practice Islam.” Here is the link to the video:
