The occasion is Eid ul Adha and Muslims are performing qurbani worldwide. Children are also taught about this tradition and how Hazrat Ibrahim AS and Hazrat Ismail AS sacrifice is the base behind this occasion.
Nadia Khan however advised parents to not show the qurbani ritual to children. She said showing them sacrifice at a young age desensitize them from animals. Therefore it should not be shown to kids
