Recently, Nameer Khan appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he talked about how he got Main Manto Nahi Hoon and he also shared details about his upcoming project.
Talking about his ongoing hit drama series Main Manto Nahi Hoon, Nameer Khan said, “I was offered Manto when I had just done one mainstream project, Mein. I was quite upset at that time because, during Mein, my father passed away, and I was emotionally down. I cut myself off from the outside world for around eight months and during that time Nadeem Baig called me, and I immediately agreed because he’s a big and seasoned director — and for me, that matters a lot since I’m still in the learning phase. The character is impactful, even though it appears later in the drama. Nadeem Baig told me to take my time to think about it, but I was already up for it because it was a big banner and I didn’t want to lose it, two days after Main Manto Nahi Hoon, I got Qarz e Jaan.”
Talking about the upcoming project, he said, “Now, I am doing a project with Kashif Nisar, again for MD productions, it is a Kashf Foundation project which is written by Bee Gul. Sehar Khan is with me in the project, I can’t tell more than that”.
