Namra Shahid is a celebrated Pakistani TV and film artist who started her media career in 2016. Recently, Namra Shahid appeared on journalist and host Maliha Rehman’s YouTube podcast, where she expressed her wish to do a drama alongside Danish Taimoor.
Talking about it, Namra Shahid said, “I want to play the lead with Danish Taimoor because I love his acting. He is a very nice person, like a brother to me. I admire his craft, no matter what people say about him—like he looks similar in roles or repeats his acting. I don’t agree with people because I have seen all his dramas, and he has variations in his craft. There are shades to his acting; some of his scenes even surprise me. If a male actor is portraying innocence on screen, he is a master of acting because not all actors can portray innocence. I believe men are harsh by nature, but Danish plays romantic, serious, aggressive, and soft roles—all very well. Yes, his selection of roles is different because of his personality. He is always offered rich brat characters because his performances guarantee his next projects, which some say are similar, like Mann Mast Malang, Sher, and Jaan Nisar. I am sure he would play the character of a middle-class man excellently, if offered.
