Namra Shahid is a mainstream Pakistani television and film actor who began her career in 2016. Her most popular television shows include hits like Shahrukh Ki Saaliyaan, Saheliyaan, Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi, Shiddat, Bholi Bano, Darr Khuda Se, Romeo Weds Heer, and Aye Musht-e-Khaak. Recently, fans praised her acting in Mohra, Muamma and Aik Aur Pakeezah. Viewers are also praising her on-screen chemistry with Saba Qamar and the storyline between Jiji and Asiya.
Recently, Namra Shahid appeared on FHM Magazine’s popular YouTube show, hosted by Adnan Faisal. During the show, she talked about her crush on top Pakistani actors.
Replying to the host’s question, “Why do aggressive boys attract women?” Namra Shahid said, “It’s not aggressive boys that attract women, it’s Bilal Abbas who attracts girls. Such charming men in any role do attract. Like, Danish Taimoor is good in whatever role he plays, also aggressive and emotional roles attract girls. And, in Pakistan, we show boys with so much glorification. If a handsome boy is shown as aggressive or emotional, and it is being glorified, and when they appear on the screen, a good music is playing in the background, girls are like: ‘Oh wow!’ I don’t know, everyone has their own preference. We glorify it so much. Now if we have a handsome, attractive boy… dressed so perfectly, and we show him with so much love… girls are like, ‘He is the man.’ They show his big eyes, filming him in such beautiful lighting, and that boy is crazy about her, so of course girls will be happy. Danish Taimoor, Bilal Abbas—I mean, when they come on screen, all like it. Our audience is happy with them. They aren’t ready for Netflix content.”
Talking about working with Danish Taimoor, Nimra Shahid said, “I have said it multiple times that I want to work with Danish Taimoor because I like him as an actor, he is amazing and he is so much loved; he is watched by a huge number of followers. I like both Danish Taimoor and Bilal Abbas.”
