Nazia Hassan is the Queen of pop and her charisma is as great today as it was when she was performing in her prime. The world lost her when she was very young and that is counted amongst the biggest losses Pakistan has faced. The starlet had a famous duo with her brother Zohaib and they both rocked the South Asian region. Her marriage to Ishtiaq Baig is however considered a very controversial topic.
Nasir Adeeb spoke about her marriage in his latest program. He revealed that she got married to a Karachi based businessman Ishtiaq Baig. He used to call it a love marriage but according to Nazia it was an arranged one. Nazia’s mother was supportive of this union while her father always opposed it. She was diagnosed with lung cancer soon before getting married. She was able to fight it but the doctors told her that she may never have a child. A miracle happened again as she gave birth to her son.

Nasir Adeeb also revealed that the real problem in Nazia Hassan’s marriage was her husband stopping her from making music. It is also said that Nazia was his third wife and he had already gone through two divorces which Nazia did not know about. Nazia Hassan has also spoken about getting abused during the marriage, an allegation that Ishtiaq Baig denies.

Nasir Adeeb also had advice for men who marry successful actresses. He said that these men need to learn how to live with such a successful woman and not treat them like an expensive commodity that they just wanted to earn and decorate in their homes. This is his advice:
Nasir Adeeb also revealed that Nazia Hassan was not buried for 5 months as there was a case about her alleged poisoning. She was though declared to die of natural causes by the court and she was then buried.
