Nasir Adeeb is a decorated writer of the Pakistani film industry. He has been in the business for over 40 years and he has been the name behind some of the biggest films that came out of Pakistani cinema. Maula Jatt, the iconic character was written by him and his film has made history twice in different eras of the film industry.
Nasir Adeeb has re-entered the Pakistani showbiz scene when he wrote The Legend of Maula Jatt for Bilal Lashari. Many new fans were able to see his work and how powerful his dialogues can be. Other stars have also wanted to work with him. Nasir Adeeb was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast and revealed many unknown experiences to the world. He also shared how he rejected a script meant for Fahad Mustafa.
Nasir Adeeb revealed that he was invited by director Fajar Raza who works predominantly for Big Bang Productions. He was asked to write the dialogues for a Fahad Mustafa project. He read the script and did not like it. He asked to set up a meeting with Fahad Mustafa. After he met Fahad, he rejected the script in front of him and told him that this will not work on it as the story was not great. He wanted to re-write the story which was not possible. The writer said that he has always been sincere to his craft and he will not do something which he does not agree with. Thus he rejected the offer despite being paid a good amount.
