Nasir Madni is a popular Pakistani religious speaker known for his Punjabi speeches delivered in a naat recitation style. He is also known for his friendly nature. A few days ago, Nasir Madni made a statement against Momina Iqbal in his signature recitation style, saying, “Momina has a beautiful Islamic name, but she has been doing acts like a devil.” The statement went viral as soon as he made it. Momina Iqbal also took legal action against it. Momina Iqbal’s sister, Rimsha Iqbal, followed the case against Nasir Madni.
Recently, in one of his speeches, Nasir Madni took a U-turn regarding his previous statement against Momina Iqbal.
Talking about it, Nasir Madni said, “I would like to say to Momina Iqbal Sahiba that we also apologize to you and your family members. If any of my statements felt personally offensive to you, then all of us sitting here before you apologize. Yes, we publicly apologize and ask all my daughters to stand up for other daughters. We all are standing with Muntaha. Rimsha Iqbal is a big name in the field of law. She has made a name for herself and should stand up for daughters, and everyone should stand up for all Pakistani daughters. We must not tarnish anyone’s daughter’s honor or make it an issue.
