Recently, the actor gave his opinion about the recent Pakistan India match in the ICC champions trophy.
Yesterday, the Pakistani team lost an important match in the ICC Cricket Series 2025, after which Pakistan is almost out of the tournament. After the match, Nauman Ijaz took to Instagram to defend Team Pakistan.

Nauman Ijaz is facing severe public backlash for defending the Pakistani team’s poor performance. A social media user wrote, “We pay taxes to let them have a good lifestyle. And hundreds of the good players never get selected because of Nepo kids and players who disappoint like this”. Another cricket fan wrote, “No Sir! Now is the right time to criticize this team because they have made it a pattern to lose every match of a big international ICC event”. Another netizen said, “They are given a heavy amount as pay , it is better to spend this amount in the country’s betterment and it is not about losing once or twice , they have been losing for 2 years. It is our right to question them”. Another Instagram user wrote, “Sir these 11 are supposed to perform and show some intent at least fight for the nation but I’m sorry to say these 11 are not good enough for a team to represent Pakistan or to play against their giant opposition. The whole time in the match the body language was lethargic”. .
