Nauman Ijaz and Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar are two big names in the Pakistani entertainment industry, but both have never shared a very cordial relationship. The two celebrities often speak against each other on talk shows. Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, however, admits that Nauman Ijaz is a phenomenal actor and once cast him in his project Main Mar Gayi Shaukat Ali, which starred Mona Liza, Kamran Mujahid, and Nauman Ijaz in the lead roles. The drama was produced by Rashid Khuwaja, who once ruled the film and TV industry with his hit projects.
Recently, Rashid Khuwaja appeared on Gup Shab, hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. In the show, Rashid Khuwaja revealed the shocking terms and conditions set by Nauman Ijaz for working in Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s project Main Mar Gayi Shaukat Ali.
Replying to the question, “How did you manage to bring Nauman Ijaz and Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar together?” Rashid Khuwaja replied, “It is a secret, it’s an interesting story. Nauman Ijaz had already read the script and he liked it, so when I offered him the role, he gave me a condition that he would do it but he didn’t want the writer on the set. Interestingly, he was recommended by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, so I put his condition in front of the writer, who accepted it and didn’t come to the set and that’s how we produced such a successful show.” Here is the link to the video:
