Nauman Ijaz is a senior Pakistani television actor who has delivered remarkable performances in hit dramas such as Fishaar, Dasht, Nijat, Bhai, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, Dampukht, Man O Salwa, Main Mar Gai Shaukat Ali, Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, Parizaad, Bashar Momin, Dunk, Mayi Ri, Bismil, and Sharpasand. Nowadays, he is shooting for his upcoming drama serial with Nadia Afgan.
Recently, Nauman Ijaz appeared on Pakiavellian’s podcast, where he revealed how he believes he was miraculously cured of cancer through the recitation of Surah Rahman.
Talking about his cancer diagnosis, Nauman Ijaz said, “I had one tumor here near my ear, and lymphoma in stomach. I was diagnosed in June 2024. On the day of my diagnosis, I prayed to Allah that I had never wronged anyone, never taken someone’s money, and never cheated on anyone, so I asked him to have mercy on me. You wake up every day until He wills it, so I prayed to Allah that if I had served my purpose, He should take my life quickly because I didn’t want my family to suffer the torture that comes with the disease, like going to hospitals, chemotherapy, and other things. That’s the reason why I recite a lot of verses and things before going to sleep because I don’t think I will wake up the next day. When I was diagnosed, one of my friends, Gohar Butt, asked me to start reciting Surah Rahman, and I have been reciting Surah Rahman daily since then. I have a belief that Surah Rahman played a very important role in saving me. The tumor near my ear was operated on, while the lymphoma disappeared on its own. It didn’t show up in the scans. I was surprised because they were supposed to start my chemotherapy in July. Allah has been very kind to me.” Watch here:
