Talking about it, Nazlee said, “Dhuwan was exciting and adventurous. We mostly did outdoor shoots, and it was freezing cold in Quetta—temperatures were below zero. I was wearing a simple shalwar kameez and fell down many times during the kidnapping scene, but it was fun. We enjoyed it a lot. Do you know I didn’t even know anything about Nabeel’s death sequence? The rest of the cast knew. It was Eid and I just filmed the scene where he was shot and I held him, and then it was cut. I went to Karachi for Eid, and later they shot the entire death sequence while I was in Quetta. I cried a lot after watching that scene—I was so sensitive. The other cast members knew because they were part of it.The funny thing about the drama was that it didn’t have a complete script. It was written on the spot and handed to us. That’s why it felt so natural and relatable.”
